Purchasing
Purchase orders through to goods receipts with line- and lot-level capture. Supplier records, supplier-specific item codes and price lists, with landed cost posted into stock.
VAP · the AI-first ERP
VAP is the AI-first ERP behind your counter and your website. A walk-in sale and an online order draw down the same stock, per outlet and per warehouse, and land in the same books.

Capabilities
Not modules that sync overnight. One dataset, read by every part of the system and by your website.
Purchase orders through to goods receipts with line- and lot-level capture. Supplier records, supplier-specific item codes and price lists, with landed cost posted into stock.
One stock position per outlet and warehouse. Lot and batch tracking, serial numbers, per-location levels, and a full ledger where every movement is recorded.
First-expiry-first-out picking, configurable per site. Essential wherever stock dates — pharmacy, food, cosmetics and feed.
Buy in cases, stock in units, sell in either, with cost carried correctly. MRP recorded per unit of measure and currency, captured at the pack you received.
Offerings, variants, modifier groups and pack sizes, priced per site and per channel — so the same product can carry a different price on a marketplace.
Terminals per site for walk-in, takeaway and delivery. Cash, card, UPI, bank transfer and wallet all land in the same books.
Receivable and payable invoices with a full status lifecycle, payments, credit notes and outstanding tracked per customer.
Double-entry books built as you trade. Invoices, payments and credit notes post straight to the ledger, per registered firm, so month end is a report rather than a reconstruction.
Tax classes, components, jurisdictions and rates as separate concepts. GST, VAT, sales tax or none, with multiple registrations per entity — and fail-closed resolution.
One party identity with many roles. The same company can be a supplier and a customer with a different contact, address and terms per function.
Apps to features to permissions with a dependency graph. Roles scoped to the organisation, a firm, a group of outlets or a single outlet.
Your website reads catalogue, price and stock live through the core SDK, with signed, credential-scoped access that only reaches what you grant.
The model
Most systems make you pick one hierarchy and bend everything else to fit it. VAP separates the four things that genuinely differ, and every request resolves against exactly one of them.
| Dimension | What it is | What it governs |
|---|---|---|
| Organisation | The whole business | Units of measure, categories, sales channels — reference data set once and shared |
| Legal entity | A registered company, in a tree | Money, tax, invoices and statutory reporting. Own currency, tax regime, fiscal year |
| Site | A physical place — outlet, warehouse, production unit | Stock, orders and POS. Only sites transact |
| Site group | A management grouping | Roles, rollups and assignment targets across several sites |
In plain terms: a company with three registered firms across nine outlets can give a regional manager authority over four of them, keep the books separate for tax, and still see one consolidated picture — without duplicating master data.

For developers
Have a tech team? They can build your website and apps on the same records your staff use — catalogue, stock, customers, orders — through the core SDK, with credential-scoped access that only reaches what you grant. Every organisation also gets its own git server and CI/CD.

}FAQ
VAP stands for Vritti AI Platforms. It is the ERP half of the Vritti platform — the system that runs a business day to day, as distinct from Vritti Cloud, which provisions and hosts it.
It is all three on one dataset. Purchasing, inventory, POS, invoicing, tax and customer records are not separate products that sync — they are one system, which is why a sale at the counter and an order on your website draw down the same stock.
Rather than shipping one generic ERP, Vritti sets up the features a trade actually needs before you log in. A pharmacy gets batch, expiry and FEFO. Apparel gets size and colour variants. Hardware gets unit-of-measure conversions. You are not configuring an empty system.
Yes, and it treats them as separate concerns. Outlets are sites that hold stock and transact. Registered firms are legal entities that own the books, tax registrations and fiscal year. One firm can run many outlets, and a group can run many firms while still seeing one consolidated picture.
Yes. Invoices, payments and credit notes post through to a full double-entry ledger, and GST reporting generates from the same records you billed — so your books are built as you trade rather than reconstructed at month end.
Yes. Each deployment has its own Postgres database rather than a shared schema with a tenant column. Row-level security is enforced by Postgres itself through a non-owner role, so isolation holds even if application code has a bug.
